Frankie, by Drogheda based director Darren Thornton (A Date for Mad Mary), the story of a 15-year-old boy about to become a father. Actor Peter McDonald’s (The Stag/Moone Boy) Pentecost, is a coming of age story about a young Liverpool fan and reluctant altar boy who faces a tough decision. New Boy, Steph Green’s first film reflects cultural diversity in the Ireland of today. Junita Wilson’s The Door, tells the story of a father’s desperate attempts to come to terms with the devastating effects of the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. Stutterer by Benjamin Cleary, about a man whose lush inner thoughts are rendered mute by a crippling stutter. And Noreen, directed by actor Domhnall Gleeson (Star Wars:The Force Awakens/The Revenant) and featuring his father and brother!
