Each year, Drogheda Arts Festival will focus on an artist or arts worker dissenters who is committed to social change through the arts. With 2016 marking the centenary of an uprising lead by writers and poets, and the May Bank Holiday traditionally celebrating labour and progressive movements, we are delighted that Lian Bell will be Drogheda Arts Festival’s first Dissenter.
