Dublin’s favourite mini music festival, Kaleidoscope Night, presents an evening of live music that promises the audience a remarkable, never to-be-forgotten musical experience. The event offers the truly unique chance to see the Krishnamurphy by Irish composer Derek Ball,which he describes as a ‘Cosmic Mass’, as well as the Ardee Dances by Rachel Holstead, featuring Louth’s own fiddle master, Gerry O’Connor.

A short string work by Luigi Boccherini and the eclectic Dances After A Cosmic Mass saxophone/bodhrán duo Crosswinds (Alexander Arcus (RO), Aimee Farrell Courtney (IRL)), who give Irish & Eastern European folk the jazz treatment, complete the evening’s journey, all presented in Kaleidoscope’s particular informal salon style in the glorious setting of Highlanes Gallery.

Kaleidoscope Night appears with gracious funding from the Arts Council of Ireland’s Touring & Dissemination Award.
