A review of his new poetry collection Randomer is below:
In Randomer, Colm Keegan’s words are an orchestra. They sing, thrum,
pulse, carrying the reader along with their distinct, complex rhythms.
In the many-chambered heart of this book there are stories of
childhood, loss and violence, but also of love, parenthood and
redemption found in words. Contemporary Ireland – commerce, culture,
class – is kaleidoscoped into devastating fragments. Keegan’s voice is
singular and urgent, trigger-full of musicality and vigour. Randomer
is an extraordinary, timely collection.”
