SCULPTURE AT OLDBRIDGE

Continuing on from the 2017 success of the Sculpture in Context group exhibition at Oldbridge Estate, the Office of Public Works is delighted to present the work of four contemporary local sculptors in the restored Victorian Walled Garden.
This exhibition will showcase the work of Niamh Synnott, Nuala Early, Breda Marron and Brian Synnott. These artists work in a variety of media and will be selecting pieces for display that will create a dialogue with their surroundings.

The courtyard at Drogheda Museum Millmount will be transformed to create an ambience of old village life in Ireland of yesteryear complete with Irish traditional music, song and dance on the `village-green`. Outdoor exhibitions and displays will include the highly acclaimed Meath Travellers Workshop Exhibition & Living History Programme.
Old Tin-smiting demonstrations, wheelwrights, the traditional traveller`s tent, Barrelwagon and cart making will be on display with a hands-on approach. A traditional uillean piper will also perform in the old-style country kitchen at the Museum.
