TOURS OF BEAULIEU HOUSE & GARDENS
‘This could arguably be Ireland’s earliest country house’ Country Life Magazine, 2015
Open each year from June to September, Beaulieu House is a rare survivor of the Artisan Mannerist style with fine brickwork and carvings, and currently lived in by the eleventh generation of the Tichbourne family, Cara Konig. The vibrant, walled garden, with its double herbaceous border and sunny, south facing slope contains many unusual plants and trees. Beaulieu is also a venue partner of Drogheda Arts Festival as host to the Bank Holiday Festival Day, Beaulieu: Sounds Beautiful (See page 42). Tours of the house and garden are specially available during the festival weekend.
